Just around the next bend we caught our first hint of the abandoned town. A sturdy stone wall was rising just to our left. Further on we saw the moss covered steps that lead at one time to an old mansion. As we ventured up the overgrown walk that once could have seen children at play we came upon the ruin of a stately house. Now it was just a foundation with a brawny fireplace still reaching for distant clouds. Huge trees grew from the old basement floor surrounded by bushes and tall grass. No home would give comfort here - forever. Return to Adventure Two Map
