Bear Mountain The Ruins

Several other ruins could be seen, still waiting. The brook still bubbled although the dam had long ago gone to ruin. The abandoned mine depleted ages ago, would never again provide income to the community. We puzzled over a wagon wheel. The steel rim, the only remains, was forever captured by a 50 foot Oak that had doomed it to stay here after all the people had left. The 50 foot tree had grown within that steel circle. The wheel would not turn again.
